Peach Shining stardust falls on the Mushroom Kingdom once every hundred years. 9 Super Mario Galaxy 2 Original Soundtrack.Super Mario Galaxy 2 is also the first Wii title to be digitally re-released on the Wii U's Nintendo eShop service. In North America, help for beginners is found on the official website as well as on the Nintendo Channel. All releases of the game except for the American version include a beginner's DVD to help players understand the controls and items if they have not played Super Mario Galaxy. However, the game introduces new elements as well, such as the utilization of Yoshi, new power-ups like the Cloud Flower, and the use of a guide within the game for beginner players. Returning items include the Bee Mushroom and the Fire Flower. The sequel retains many elements from its predecessor, such as the adventure being in outer space, the element of gravity, and recurring objects such as Launch Stars and Sling Stars.
It is the sequel to the 2007 game Super Mario Galaxy and is the fourth 3D platformer entry in the Mario franchise it is also the first, and thus far, the only 3D platformer in the Mario franchise to be released on the same console as its predecessor ( Super Mario Galaxy 2 was released on the Wii the same console that Super Mario Galaxy was originally released for). Note: I haven't played Super Mario Sunshine yet, so that's why I didn't say if Super Mario Sunshines 100 coin missions are worse then Super Mario 64's.Super Mario Galaxy 2 is a 3D action platformer game released for the Wii on May 22, 2010. Overall, Super Mario Galaxy is a fantastic game with a beautiful soundtrack, great galaxies, and it has Luigi. Lastly, I completed this game as Mario a few months ago and I have yet to do it as Luigi. (There's a more then that because this game introduces Rosalina, but I'll save that when I get around to reviewing 3D Mario games). The story is Peach and her Castle gets Kidnapped by bowser and Mario must save her. As for the bosses, they're pretty easy especially Bowser. After you complete the game as Mario, you get to do it again with Luigi. Thankfully, they give you more then enough time to collect coins (Aka purple coins which is what their called for this and galaxy 2). By the way, some of the 100 coin missions have time limits. Some of them are in small galaxies and it doesn't take a while. They're not as bad as Super Mario 64, but the 100 coin missions are in large galaxies and it takes forever to grab them all. By the way, the 100 coin missions from Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine return and they still suck. Three of which aren't very useful besides The Red Star which you only use for one star out of 120. You also get some new power ups like the Ice Flower, the Bee Mushroom, The Spring Mushroom, and The Red Star. The level design is also better then Super Mario 64 even tho it's guilty of copying galaxy designs for later galaxies. For starters, the camera is a lot better then Super Mario 64 which means no more deaths due to the camera. As for the game itself, it's a hell of a lot better then Super Mario 64. Super Mario Galaxy's Soundtrack is incredible! Galaxy one goes for a orchestra and it freaking works! Unfortunately, the only way you can listen to it is this website and 3D all stars because of Nintendo being douchebags to their fans.
